How is Overhead calculated in Force Account work?

Overhead is defined in GC 1.3.8 and includes indirect costs such as:

  • Supervision and office support
  • Tools, fuel, and minor supplies
  • Site-specific safety and compliance requirements
  • Insurance and bonding costs
    The contract specifies applicable markup percentages for overhead, typically stated in the Schedule of Force Account Rates.
